7.1 General

Elitecrafters.com pays great attention to security and confidentiality of all transactions. We integrate the most recent protocols and authentication methods to secure transactions and our customer’s personal data. Since the security level is influenced by our systems as well as by our customers, we suggest our customer’s use:

b) Updated and properly configure your anti-virus software with a firewall (e.g. Norton Antivirus, Bitdefender Internet Security).

Both the Bank and PayPal assumes all responsibility for payment security as EliteCrafters.com uses the rerouting process (redirect) and therefore payments are redirected to the Bank / PayPal’s site page for secure payment. We are not responsible for any losses due to unauthorized access of information supplied by our customers.

7.2 SSL Technology

Elitecrafters.com uses SSL Technology (Secure Sockets Layer) with up to 256 bit encryption level. SSL has been established internationally as the safest protocol for the certification of web sites for internet users and encryption of communication between network users and network web servers.

ENCRYPTION SSL: Encrypted communication means that all information exchanged between a customer and a server is required to be encrypted before sending (by the sending software) and decrypted on receipt (from receiving software). Upon receipt, this information is additionally checked for corruption during transportation. This protects the transfer of all personal information.

DIGITAL CERTIFICATE: Elitecrafters.com has a digital security certificate "Rapid SSL" licensed by Geotrust Inc.®, one of the leading international companies in digital certification.

7.3 User Password

Customers that register as a member at Elitecrafters.com have their own unique password. This password protection is solely dependent on the customer. Elitecrafters.com has no access to this personal data. Personal details provided during registration is stored and used exclusively used for processing transactions.

7.4 Security Systems

Elitecrafters.com collaborates with Viva Payments Services SA. Viva Payments is an e-money institution licenced and supervised by the Bank of Greece for operations in the EEA-31 region which encrypts all submitted information. All transactions are in the Euro (€) currency. 

Viva Payments adheres to the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and implements the prerequisite security policies, which are constantly evaluated by a certified security auditor. To ensure data transfer security the encryption protocol EV SSL-128bit is used. Access is controlled by using the latest technology in Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Denial of Service Protection Systems. Viva Payments hosts the entire infrastructure (Level 1 Certified Services Provider), a certified PCI-DSS data center based in UK.
